The app provides extensive support for ANT+ sensors, accommodating profiles for bicycle speed and cadence, heart rate, power metrics including pedaling effectiveness and cycling dynamics, as well as muscle oxygen and environmental metrics. In addition, IpBike integrates Bluetooth smart capabilities for heart rate, bike speed, cadence, and running power.

IpBike offers a highly customizable user interface, where you can tailor the main riding screens according to color, size, and data display preferences. With access to over 300 statistics, ranging from average power output to heart rate variability, IpBike ensures you have all necessary metrics at your fingertips. Real-time data plotting allows for ongoing monitoring during activities, alongside post-ride trimming and splitting capabilities. The app supports uploading and following routes using .fit, .gpx, or .kml files, enhancing navigation though without turn-by-turn directions.

Licensing and Compatibility

The free version of IpBike is limited to one million wheel revolutions, with the need for the IpBikeKey app for continued use beyond this limit. Compatibility with ANT+ and Bluetooth sensors is facilitated through IpSensorMan. Note that IpBike may experience startup issues related to Google Maps setup, but alternative versions without map support are available.
